About Sarkar
Sarkar Syed Khaleelullah Shah Noori Chisti Qadri (RA)
Sarkar is born into a noble family on 6th of Ramadhan,1355 A.H (Saturday, November 21, 1936) in Chennai (Madras), Tamil Nadu, India. His father Dr. Syed Niamathullah Shahib was a well known and highly respected unani hakeem and Mayor of Madras. Sarkar is the second son in his family. Sarkar graduated from Madras Medical College and obtained his medical degree in 1958 from University of Madras. After graduation he was posted in Government Hospital in town of Kumbakonam. Sarkar started his own private practice in 1960 in Kumbakonam and he is a well known family doctor in Kumbakonam and surrounding villages for over 40 years. With Allah's grace and help Sarkar has dedicated himself to serve the community with his profession as a doctor and with his religious/spiritual knowledge to uplift many induvidual's taqwah and guide them into seeking Allah's pleasure. With Allah's mercy Sarkar has touched many lives with his generosiity, kindness and knowledge fulfulling both worldly and spiritual needs of many induviduals. Sarkar's everlasting smile is captivating, Alhamdullillah. Sarkar is instrumental and founding father for establishment of Masjid-e-Noor and Al-Ameen Matriculation School in Kumbakonam, Sarkar was married on January 26, 1958 to Peeranima Zarina Khaleel in town of Mayavaram. They have five children and twelve grand children. Sarkar has left this worldly life in peace and with honor on 24th Safar 1430 A.H. (Friday, January 28, 2011).
Sarkar is khalifa and disciple of Shamsul Arifeen Jamia Shariat and Tariqat Qibla Syed Noorishah Chisti Qadri (RA) from Hyderabad and has been with his sheik for over 20 years. Sarkar has many disciples of his own in Kumbakonam, Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu and abroad. Sarkar has written and published a very concise and informative book titled "The God And His Worship" in English language. This book has been translated into Tamil language under the tiltle "Eraivanum Eraivanakamum" . Sarkar has also written and published another book titled " Durra-e-Tasawwuf " in Urdu language.
